Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
You are made up of many parts—some that protect, some that carry pain, and others that guide you forward. Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy helps you build a deeper connection with these parts, allowing you to understand their roles and bring more harmony into your life.
At the core of IFS is your Self—the calm, compassionate, and wise center within you. When you lead from this place, life feels more grounded, choices become clearer, and emotions no longer feel overwhelming. IFS is especially powerful for trauma healing, as it gently helps you reconnect with wounded parts in a way that feels safe, without retraumatization. By honoring and witnessing these parts with curiosity and care, you can release old burdens and move toward healing and wholeness.
Complementing IFS therapy with somatic practices and body awareness can be especially transformative. Trauma and emotional pain often live in the body, not just in the mind. By tuning into physical sensations, breath, and movement, we can access deeper layers of healing that words alone may not reach. Integrating somatic work allows for a more embodied, lasting transformation—helping you not just understand your experiences but feel and integrate healing on a profound level..
If you’re ready to live with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust, IFS—combined with somatic awareness—can help you get there.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Trauma can leave its mark on the mind, body, and heart, shaping how we experience ourselves and the world around us. That’s why I take an integrative approach to healing, incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Gestalt (parts work), Somatic Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory (exploring the nervous system) to support you in a way that feels safe, paced, and resourcing.
Since trauma is often stored in the body, healing requires more than just talking about it—it calls for body awareness, emotional processing, and nervous system regulation. IFS offers a way to explore and unburden the parts of you that have carried trauma, while somatic therapy helps you release and integrate these experiences on a deeper, embodied level. By tuning into both your body’s wisdom and your emotional landscape, we can create a path toward healing that honors your unique experience.
Trauma is not just personal—it can also be generational and systemic. In our work, we will explore how societal structures and intergenerational patterns may have shaped your experiences, bringing awareness to what has been passed down and what you have the power to heal.
Above all, my approach prioritizes safety, pacing, and resourcing, ensuring that you feel supported and regulated throughout the process. Healing from trauma is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.
